Dr. Zhang Haodi is an associate professor at the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Shenzhen University and a high-level talent under the Peacock Plan of Shenzhen Municipality. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and his bachelor's degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He has previously served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analysis at HKUST and as a visiting lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at HKUST.

Dr. Zhang's research focuses on artificial intelligence, big data, knowledge representation and reasoning, deep learning, and applications of AI in natural language processing, gaming, healthcare, and other domains. His research outcomes have been published in top international journals such as Artificial Intelligence and IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), as well as in leading conferences like the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI), the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), and the International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE).

He has led seven research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, and others. He has published over twenty papers, with ten of them being first-author or corresponding-author papers in CCF-A category journals. Dr. Zhang has received various awards for his research and teaching, including the championship in both Verbal and Diagram tracks of the 2021 IJCAI Machine Intelligence Quotation (MIQ) competition, the Tencent Rhino-Bird Young Faculty Research Fund Award, and the second prize in the Teaching Innovation Competition for College Teachers in Guangdong Province at Shenzhen University.

Dr. Zhang has served as a member of the expert group of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) ENI, the chair of the organizing committee of the EAI ICECI 2021 conference, and a senior program committee member or sub-forum chair for international conferences such as AAAI, IJCAI, ACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL, and EMNLP. He is also a regular reviewer for prestigious international journals like TKDE, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Intelligence. Additionally, he is a member of the Hong Kong Internet Professional Association, the CCF Big Data Committee, the CCF Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition Committee, and the CCF Internet of Things Committee.
