Dr. Xie Ruita is an associate professor leading the Smart Cloud-Edge Computing Research Group at the Center for AI Services Computing at Shenzhen University. His primary research interests encompass AI networks, edge computing, cloud computing, and mobile computing. He completed his Ph.D. at the Department of Computer Science of City University of Hong Kong in 2014 and holds a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, which he obtained in 2008.

Dr. Xie has been awarded two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grants, one for a General Project and another for a Youth Project, along with a provincial-level natural science fund project. He has published over 20 papers in prestigious international journals and conferences, including the Journal on Selected Areas in Communications (JSAC), Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS), Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), Transactions on Cloud Computing (TCC), Transactions on Vehicular Technology (TVT), Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS), and Mobile World Congress (MWC), as well as the annual IEEE Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM).
