Dr. Zou Yongpan is a tenure-track associate professor at the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Shenzhen University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in February 2017. Prior to this, he earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University in September 2013. From February to August 2017, he served as a Research Assistant at the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Macau before joining Shenzhen University in September of the same year.

Dr. Zou was recognized as a Class C overseas high-level talent in Shenzhen in 2018 and a Class C Leading Talent in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen in 2019. His research focuses on wearable/mobile computing, ubiquitous computing, and human-computer interaction. He has published 21 academic papers, serving as the first or corresponding author on 17 of them. His work has been featured in reputable academic conferences and journals such as ACM Ubicomp, ACM Mobicom, IEEE ICDCS, IEEE Percom, IEEE TMC, IEEE COMMAG, and IEEE IOTJ.

Dr. Zou has received multiple awards for his research, including the Best Paper Award at IEEE MASS 2014, the First Prize for Excellent Paper from the Guangdong Computer Society in 2019, and two papers listed among ESI's Highly Cited Papers. He has served as a program committee member/chair (TPC Member/Chair) and publication chair for various international and domestic academic conferences, including UIC 2020, MSN 2020, HPCC 2020, Globecom 2018, IEEE ICPADS, IEEE VTC-Spring, and PCC 2019. He has also acted as a reviewer for high-level journals and conferences like TMC, Ubicomp, and Infocom.

Dr. Zou has applied for four U.S. patents, five PCT international patents, and over thirty Chinese invention patents, with seventeen of the latter having been granted, along with two utility model patents. He has led four projects at the national, provincial, and municipal levels with a total funding of over RMB 3.5 million, and participated in four national joint key projects. As an educator, he has supervised seventeen master's students, nine of whom have graduated, four receiving national scholarships. He has also mentored nineteen undergraduate students, some of whom are still part of his group. His students have participated in over twenty academic competitions, achieving notable results, including second place in the "Challenge Cup" National Competition in 2019, the grand prize in the "Huawei Cup" China College Students Intelligent Design Competition in 2018, and first prize in the National Computer Design Competition. Among his graduates, five have pursued further studies at top universities, two have gone on to study at prestigious institutions in North America, and seven have secured employment at leading domestic IT companies such as Tencent, Baidu, and ByteDance.
